Opening ceremony
The opening ceremony marks the start of the parliamentary session.
The Fifth Session of the Scottish Parliament (2016-2021) will be marked on 2 July with an address by Her Majesty The Queen.
A day of events will commence with a procession of the Crown of Scotland down the Royal Mile to Holyrood.
