Joint Member’s meeting – SIBF and Haemophilia Scotland – Saturday 7th September 2019

The Scottish Infected Blood Forum and Haemophilia Scotland are holding a joint meeting for members of both organisations to discuss a range of issues related to the contaminated blood campaign in Scotland, the UK Inquiry and our common interests associated with it.

We anticipate that discussions will include,

  • Reflections on the Infected Blood Inquiry oral hearings in Edinburgh
  • Efforts to secure greater parity in financial support payments across the UK
  • Priorities for improving the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme

The meeting will start at 11am at the Mercure Glasgow City Hotel on Sat 7th September and may last up to 2 hours. The 11am start aims to accommodate as many peoples’ travel plans as possible.

Teas, coffees and water will be provided.

Members are free to raise any other issues of concern to them also.

To help us guage the numbers attending we’d be very grateful if you would click and register on the eventbright page set-up by Dan at Haemophilia Scotland for both organisations.

The Mercure Hotel address is:

201 Ingram Street
Glasgow
G1 1DQ
